Who To Watch: Jason Hall
Jason Hall is clearly committed to helping St. Louis grow, and that commitment has been key to his success. Hall, who has a legal and economic development background has recently been instrumental in the merger of five economic development groups (AllianceSTL, Arch to Park, Civic Progress, Downtown St. Louis Inc., and the St. Louis Regional Chamber) that took effect on January 1st of this year (2021).
With the merger, Hall transitioned from co-founder and CEO of Arch To Park to the Chief Executive Officer of Greater St. Louis, Inc. - reportedly a natural progression to each of the merged organizations’ stakeholders and boards.
The civic entrepreneur hails from Granite City, and was the first in his family to earn a college degree - and then went back for a J.D. from Vanderbilt.
Executive roles at the St. Louis Regional Chamber, the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the Missouri Technology Corporation, and a stint at Bryan Cave LLP followed, rounding out his economic development experience.
Despite all that - he still finds time to serve on the board of the Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls (of which he was a founder) and boost other civic efforts.
Yeah, and you thought you were busy. We’re feeling pretty confident there are good things to come for St. Louis with Hall at the head of Greater St. Louis Inc.
