How To Engage With St. Louis Safely, Daily Life Changes from the COVID-19 Outbreak

Things are changing fast so we’re going to do our best to keep a list of those changes in the metro area with a separate post for food-related items. This is the everything else list. (We also have ideas of how to help here.)

This started as a list of all the places closed for the foreseeable future due to the COVID-19 outbreak but we’ve reached the point where we can just say: TLDR - It’s probably closed. Pretty much everything besides some restaurant take-out, the grocery and general stores (like Target, Costco, Walgreens, etc.), Pharmacies and medical centers are closed to slow the spread of the virus. So really, there’s not much reason to ignore the advice to stay home.

In local elections news, Gov. Mike Parson signed an executive order Wednesday that moves municipal elections from April 7 to June 2. So plan to vote next on June 2nd.

If you’re feeling stir crazy or missing your favorite STL locations, several city institutions, small businesses, and boutiques are still offering ways to interact digitally, curbside pick-up or offering online shopping assistance.
