10 Super Cool STL Small Businesses You May Not Have Heard Of

Happy Small Business Saturday!

Here at Spotlight On St. Louis, Small Biz Saturday is a holiday in and of itself! It’s the perfect day to get all of your Christmas shopping knocked out in one fell swoop, boost the local economy, and help your neighbors all in one fell swoop!

Local businesses generate 70% more local activity per square foot than a big box store, and return 52% of their revenue back to the local economy, versus only 14 % for national chain retailers. When we spend locally it generates three and a half times more wealth for the local economy compared to chain-owned businesses, and this year, in particular, our local businesses really need our help. There are some really great locals that you’ve probably already heard of, but here are 10 other fantastic businesses that you may not be familiar with.
